Here's a tough one. How do you wipe out an old google account if you have no way of contacting the previous owner for any information?

I'm stuck on the proverbial "This device was reset. To continue, sing in with a google account that was previously synced on this device."

Again, i have zero way of gathering any previous owner information.

Any thoughts on how to completely wipe this device so i can start using it on my own as if brand new?

In theory you can't. It's meant to remove the incentive for anyone thinking of stealing your phone.
I suspect it can probably be bypassed on some phones, but BlackBerry probably isn't one of them.

How did you get the phone in the first place? You may be able to return it.
