How come my Classic doesn't play m4a any longer?
I used to play EVERYTHING from my Classic, in every format, including m4a.
After a break of a few weeks, I wanted to resume listening - and suddenly 'media format unsupported', for the same m4a songs that worked before!?! Only MP3 works.
WTH is going on?

I just simply restarted the phone (which I normally never do) and surprisingly, m4a songs are being played again w/o any problems.

M4a files seem to still work on my classic. Might just be the files you're trying to play are corrupted.
