Hi! Last year my employer stopped supporting bb and is "decommisioning" the BES and gave me a samsung s4. ugh! I am thinking of buying for myself the Passport. If i remember correctly with my bb torch i had to go through our BES to get my work email, and also pay extra for a data plan. Will my work's outlook exchange automatically sync with the Passport? Do I need an extra blackberry data plan with AT & T?
Hope this is clear, and thanks!!

You should be good to go, yes it will sync and you will not need a special data plan.

His employer is getting rid of the BES. But not necessarily the enterprise management. I believe there are several MDM that handle Android devices. If the employer has put the company on one of these MDMs, can the employee simply by-pass that to sync email with their BB? That sounds ridiculously unsecured.
