Always enjoyed the BlackBerry virtual keyboard and still use it sometimes on my key2. Looking at new pixel 6 and was wondering if BlackBerry virtual keyboard is available for newer Androids.

I've been using SwiftKey for a year now on Pixel 5 and now 6 Pro.

It's probably better anyway, with tonnes of customisation options.

There is a BlackBerry VKB apk out there that works on non-Blackberry Android devices.

It's getting old and doesn't have any cloud sync support to save all of your customisations, or typing characteristics.

Yes it is getting old and will probably not work for some devices and/or as Android OS updates continue to evolve. Yes it probably does not have some of the bells and whistles that some other VKBs have. However, it still works well for the needs of many folks.

It's also not LEGALLY available for other devices. Not that licensing issues stop people from doing it, but it should be clear that legally, it's only available to BB-branded devices.

BB virtual keyboard incorporates SwiftKey under licence so use the SwiftKey app instead Microsoft now own that and it's integrated into Microsoft Office as well
