Hi !
There might be a problem with the headset connector. Your device may "think" your headset is still connected.
Try to figure if there isn't some kind of dirt inside the connector.
You can also perform a soft reset (won't hurt) in case this is software related.

Hi - I had this problem on my Q10. People I called could hear me only if I used the earphones or speakerphone.

It might sound silly, but try cleaning the microphone with a pin (damp, if possible). The microphone is that tiny circular hole at the bottom of the handset that is hard to see, and it becomes easily clogged.

This worked for me.

Seems to be a lot of these threads esp for the Z10. Hope it's just a dirt issue.

Thanks for your advice to clean the microphone with a damp pin. I used an alcohol type wipe cloth, a pin, and then used an aerosol can of pressurized air to clean out the microphone. I also used the air on the headphone jack.
Just tested it, and SUCCESS!
I really want to thank you for your tips- these steps worked for me ( I also took the battery out and did a reboot after 20 minutes once cleaning was done).
