I don't have the correct Z10 charger but I have a blackberry 9300 charger. If I plug it in it shows the bolt but it disappears after a minute. But when I check at the device monitor it shows my z10 is charging, but the battery percentage is not going up. Could this be because I don't have the correct Z10 charger? Or do I need a new battery?
Yes... the old charger may not work if it is low powered one. Get a new charger from crackberry or BlackBerry
Did you keep it plugged for a few hours to see whether it's getting charged at all?
I own a Curve 9300 too, the charger has 700 mA rating and I am able to use it to charge my Z30. It's just charging slower than the official Z30 charger which has 850 mA rating.
You may want to get an app to check your battery health.

Just get a proper charger, they are pretty cheap these days, plus it's a bonus to have a extra charger.you can carry one around not that you'd need one with a z30 but still good to have around.
