Using Blackberry Bold 9930 running 7.0. For some reason some of my new correspondents using I-Phones and Samsung Android devices send me text messages that just deliver a button, which when pressed just doesn't do anything. There is also an expiration date and if I press button after the expiration date I get message that the item has expired or has been moved. Is there an app for Blackberry that would receive these messages as sent? I have missed a few meetings due to this "incompatibilty".

Sounds like they're not just sending text messages but rather MMS messages or calendar invites or something with an attachment either way. Do you have a BIS plan attached to your BlackBerry?

As Bla1ze has mentioned, you're no doubt getting MMS (text plus attachments) sent to you from your Apple contacts.

Plain text message use the older SMS standard.
