    Battery ran completely flat. When connected back to power it initially worked, then froze now wont turn on.

    Get an orange/red light when newly connected to power but disappears after 30 secs.

    Don't want to reset and loose all data. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    You can try charging your device while pressing the power button / try to turning it ON every 5 minutes or so. It's not a 100% solution but it did work on some dead PlayBooks before. This can be a time-consuming task so be patient. If you lost that, time to purchase a new battery.

    Your battery may not be touching the contacts. Try putting some paper behind the back edge of the battery to force it up against the contacts.
