I put on a new screen protector, turning off and laying flat overnight as directed. In the morning the screen instructed me to "press & hold on/off button for 15 seconds to reboot device". I've tried that numerous times without success, including the 32 second simulated battery pull. And while I'm at it, the phone has been trying to update is operating system for months and fails every time.
