[CrackBerry Question]

I click on "Install Update" on Link, and it brings up a separate window and notice that says a Link component must be installed to help with the upgrade. I click YES and it shows a software download bar graph that sits there for about a minute or so, and then reverts back to the Install Update in Link. Click that again, and it all cycles over again as above. In addition, it confusingly asks that you disconnect all BlackBerry devices from your computer. Since you can't upgrade with Link without having your phone plugged into your computer, how is this supposed to work??? I've been going round-robin multiple times now. Someone with knowledge of this please help. Thank you!
