Can't seem to find this feature on my Passport. So do you just tap and hold when composing?

Read receipts are based on the email provider. If your provider allows you to request read receipts, you should be able to get them. If it does not, then you won't. I use Gmail and cannot find anything in GMail's settings to allow me to request a read receipt.

It's a feature we miss as well and it is not available on any BB 10OS devices which is a shame. It is independent of your email provider even with a Exchange 2013 and BES12 solution there is no server side option to force Deliver or Read Recept's. Let's hope BB integrates this in a future OS but at least in the Leaked 10.3.1 its is not.

So that's why I can't get it, it's a provider issue by the look of it. Will try contacting them

If getting read receipts is something offered by my provider, they come in as normal emails (this happens with me at work). It would stand to reason that if a read receipt comes into your inbox as any other email would, you would get read receipts on your phone the same way it receives other email. Having the read receipts sent to you is likely something you would have to configure from the desktop version of your email and likely can't set it up from your phone directly.

Not true. I use the same email account with AquaMail on android and I have enabled auto enable read receipt and it works every time, as long as the other party client supports - if the reader opens it on a BB10 I will not get it. But if he/she opens it on Outlook - I will.
