    Hey all!

    I've noticed that my KEYone cuts off the outer edges of snaps and stories, which I can tell from the texts and emoji not being displayed in full.*

    If it were BB10 I'd just swipe down from the top and resize the view of the app.

    Anyone know how I can fix this?

    Poor app design.

    The aspect ratios of the Galaxy S8 and KEYᵒⁿᵉ are not standard 16:9, and instead of letterboxing, we get zoom/crop.

    The developers of these apps have to get it together.

    It's a photo- and video-sharing app where you can send photos and videos to friends that disappear after they view them, you can also create "stories" which are like compilations of photos and videos you choose to upload and each one expires 24 hours after it was posted. It's really just for entertainment and sharing the interesting or funny things that happen during your day. The logo of Snapchat is a simplified faceless white ghost on a yellow background.

    Great, that's actually an app I use quite a bit and I haven't pulled the trigger on a KEYᵒⁿᵉ yet.

    It's not that big a deal. Just trims 10% off from the top and bottom.

    Does it also trim 10% off the top and bottom of snaps you upload? Or only when viewing friends' snaps?

    I would imagine that any potential cropping only happens at the receiving end. But I'm not sure.

    Yeah it really only is problematic when friends put emoji and/or text at the very top or bottom and you can't read all of it. The benefits of the KEYone completely outweigh the very few drawbacks, and that's something that may also be fixed in the near future anyway.
