Well they tried testing the Passport 1:1 screen ratio for Android thus the famous leak youtube vid but weren't able to overcome the limitations and bugs to Google's satisfaction. Making it KeyOne (4:3) screen ratio would make a very ungainly device if you wanted it to have the Passport width keyboard.
Passport is a niche device within what is already a niche, pkb. Just don't see wide appeal with it and Android.
Nothing is going to ever match the Passport because it has a unique screen size, unusual physical keyboard, and an abandoned operating system.
And no one is ever going to build a Android version of it for reasons that are obvious to everyone except a few die hard Passport users.
If you must have phone with a unique design, a physical keyboard, and a good selection of apps, your only option at this point is the KEYone.
