    I downloaded some documents(PDF and .doc) over the browser, but they seem to get stored in device memory. I manually need to transfer the files over to sd card. Is there a way to store it automatically on the media card?

    If you're on BB10, then your download location defaults to the last used location.
    See this post that explains how to change the download location when saving, resulting it becoming the new default:

    Even though it shows saving an image, it is the same procedure for any download.
