Have you tried to force a full restart? (Hold power button for 15 to 20 seconds, then release.) I haven't heard of your problem specifically, but I solved a bunch of problems on my Z30 over the months using the full restart.
Having same trouble. Phone get drained after yesterday update. After been charged it turns on, but screen stays black - no "BlackBerry" logo or boot progress indicator on start. Touchscreen works fine - I can hear keyboard click when I'm typing device password. I also can hear sound notifications.
Resetting device doesn't help. I've tried to downgrade software to 10.2.1 with autoloader, but screen stays black.
My Z30 after the update went blank and started after I help the power and volume bottoms that too after many times.Today am facing the same problem and it's not getting switched on...Blackberry TEchnical Team...do you guys have a solution ?????
My ex's z30 is doing same thing. If I leave it to charge till its a green light when off, then turn it on and wait like 5 min and do the hold down both volume up and down for 30 seconds to simulate a battery pull I can the screen to turn on again! But, if I let it go to sleep again it won't come back on till I do that whole dance again.
This was her first BB phone and theres another lost customer if there isn't a fix for this like quick!
I've seen a few threads on the BB support forums about this and it seems like BB are finally looking into it but for a lot of people who have ever dropped their phone I bet phone companies tell you tough luck. Man, what a joke.
