Why is my Z30 lifeless?

Hi my phone is 3 months old,did software update. After completion i put the phone on the charger and blackberry logo came up and the green flash started.

I left phone for an hour as i pick it up its super hot and not responding. Ive left it to cool but still nothing not charging,not flashing just dead.

I left it to cool, it was unresponsive, i put it in wall charger/usb port on laptop still unresponsive(link cant even pick up the device)

I've tried the volume reset option still no sign of life what so ever, I've plugged and unplugged multiple times even used multiple chargers still no led light or sign of life



It just stays off, PLEASE HELP

Sounds like you soft bricked the device in your effort to upgrade.
When you plug it into your Link it doesn't recognize it? You need to download an OS and try to load it back on your phone. Or if Link recognizes it, you can use Link to load the latest official back on it.

Which OS were you loading and how did you do it again???
and what green flash are you describing? Just trying to get a clearer picture of what happened here.

thanks for reply. Please tell how to load OS when the PC/laptop doesn't pick up the device on all usb ports.

I had asked the carrier to update to software, seems like they screwed it.

So you took it into your carrier and they updated it physically? Or did they push an update over the air?
