I haven't seen that. Are you sure it isn't a fault device?

I hope it is not a hardware isssue. I have had this phone just over a week. My first z30 was replaced by blackberry for a hardware issue (could only call on speaker phone). This phone hisses so loud during calls its awful, though the caller can not hear the hissing. I know my way around bb10 (had a z10, z30 12 months) but this is new. over to you fine people

I'm getting this when using the phone the "normal" way. It doesn't happen when using hands free headphones or speaker.

I just noticed this today and am afraid it might be a hardware issue. I'll try a software reload before taking it for carrier warranty service though.

I'm using 10.2.1.3062 with Telcel in Mexico. I've had the phone since April. I rarely make calls the "normal" way (prefer to use the speaker or hands free set), so I can't say for certain when the hissing began.

As OP, the persons on the other end don't hear the hiss.
