I was having trouble with battery life and tried a procedure someone posted here that said to remove battery and replacing it while having the z10 plugged into the charger.
After I performed this procedure, my screen appears dark and hard to read.
The phone still works as it did. Battery life is no better.
I'm afraid this may have fried the display. Any suggestions?

if you fried your display it wouldn't show anything at all.

if at all anything, a capacitor either is giving out, a light sensor has failed, or your brightness is on the lowest setting.

Check to make sure you don't have battery saver mode enabled. That dims the screen considerably.

The brightness (my phones, not me) is turned up all the way. Could be one of the other two.
I will also check battery saver.
