    My torch 9800 went off several months ago due to bad battery. I recently decided to change the battery, got a steady red light which goes off after some seconds and back on after over 15 seconds (not blinking). I took the battery out and plugged in the usb but no red light. Now no red light even when i put the battery back in. Is my phone dead?

    Proable wasn't really a dead battery a few months ago...

    Put the battery in, use a known good charger and leave it overnight. If nothing then it sad to let go....
