I am trying to figure out to speed up my once impressive Keyone. My internal memory is at 18 of 29. I can see why it's so laggy. Any ideas?

Have to installed any recent apps that might be causing an issue?

Not sure what 18 of 29 is.... is that 1.8GB of 2.9GB? (not sure what the KEYone memory shows up as... should be 3GB) You'd need to look at all the individual process under memory. Can go to developer options to show CPU usages....

Have you tried clearing your device cache? look under Storage.

With my Moto, I pretty much did a Factory Reset after each update... which was quarterly.
With my Samsung, haven't had to do a Factory Reset yet...

But a Factory Reset fixes many issues.... just want to make sure you backup and have backups for the backups.

I believe he's talking about the internal storage.

Well that shouldn't affect his device being laggy... unless the storage was completely full. So that isn't the issue.

    Cache is 1st step.

Probably that's what he was trying to imply that his storage isn't full and yet the phone is lagging.

Yes he should clear the cache.

Another thing to try out: I realized the custom font an UI settings slow down the keyone a lot. Setting them back to standard improved my speed by 10x.
