why is my blackberry z10 stuck on security swipe ?

I was doing a security swipe on my blackberry z10,it won't finish swiping the phone..I even tried pulling out the battery but it's still stuck on the security swipe screen

There are a lot of threads on this very same experience regarding just about any BB10 phone. Most of the answers came down to just waiting it out. Some went ahead and did an autoloader and got around the waiting.
It is annoying though.

Get an autoloader from here and be done with it
