    Hi,

I have a 5day old blackberry Z10. I rarely use it. Most of the time it is just on stand by mode. The battery is discharging very fast. I turn off all the possible apps that may causes to discharge. Is there a factory defect on my phone? or it is just normal that the battery is draining even on the stand by mode? The longest time is 24hrs.

    Thanks,

If the Z10 was brand new, you can/may expect a higher than normal battery drain as the system is indexing itself/settling in. It should be done by now.
Check your BBM, and any android apps that may be accessing BBM. Change the permissions.
Also, the Z10 is notorius for being a battery eater.

Also I'll let you in on a little secret...the Z10 battery is a bit too small for its screen.

    Hi,

May I know how can I do this?
And is it normal to experience this? that the battery discharge even it is not in use?

    Thanks.
