    my phone keeps on rebooting unnecessarily and when i try to use camera at night it definitely powers of no matter what. my software version is currently 7.0 bundle 1465 but when i try to update to 7.1 bundle 2061 it shows "An updated blackberry Desktop Software component must be installed before you can continue." but it then fails at the end.

    Were you able to update your Desktop Manager? Once that is done you will be able to update your OS.
