I've had my blackberry Q5 for a year and until this last week I've had no problems with it and loved it! However, now the phone doesn't seem to hold a charge. As soon as I unplug it in the morning (being at 100 percent charged) within the hour it is down to 50-40 percent and I've barely done anything on it. I can't remove the battery because it's not removable, so, I am unsure what to do. Any insight would be helpful!

Use Device Monitor to see if it shows what is using the most power...
Delete any recent apps you might have installed.
Try deleting all of your accounts and adding the back.
If that doesn't help, do a backup and a security wipe (or reload the OS). Then test before doing a restore.

If the problem persists even after a reload of the OS... then it is possible your battery is one in a 1000 that just go bad early, but more likely it's a glitch in an app that is causing this.

The exact same thing was happening to my z30 which was so odd, so I began deleting recent apps esp the android ones particularly the call blocker app, since then battery life back up.

Send from the amazing powers of the  Z30
