That's two very different questions

Beta zone you may need to delete and reinstall. But the heating issue is because the GPU generates a lot of heat in a BlackBerry and dissipates it out through the case. So intense games or even game engines will burn your battery, cpu and GPU. And the device gets very hot.

Think about it this way - a lot of electricity is flowing. And that generates heat as a side effect.
