I just bought a blackberry passport, When i view emails on my passport and they are marked as read, it doesn't mark it as read on my computer, how do i fix this? I'm using gmail on a iMac

It does, just change the synchronisation interval for your gMail E-Mail account to e.g. a smallest of 5 minutes! However, do not forget that shorter intervals will also consume more battery.
