Can't load the hub, none of the apps work, can't get to setting. Pretty much useless right now. Had z10 for two yrs, seriously thinking to move to Iphone.

With the phone switched on hold both the volume up&down keys till the phone turns off, then boot it up and try, if not connect it to a pc and reload the os from BB Link.
BTW, iPhone, nah, knowing Apple's OS issue track record, you're better off on BB10.
tried reboot, tried pulling battery, nothing so far. hub just stuck on preparing stage, can't get to setting, can't make phone call, or open any apps.
Shut the phone down first(DO NOT pull the battery while the phone is running)...the take the battery out for 15-20 mins or so. Put it back in and see if it boots properly.
If not, then you would have to reload the OS, using Blackbery link. You can then restore your backup (if you have one) and be good to go gain.
