I did a factory reset on my BB Q5 runnning on OS 10. It seems to be taking forever. Since Q5 battery is built-in, is there a way i can force the swipe to stop? Thanks

You can try a hard reset by holding your volume up and down buttons together at the same time until it forces a reset. If that fails I would suggest finding the latest autoloader in the bb10 leaked OS section (read the tutorial, if you have jever used an autoloader).

You couod force restart to halt the wipe . But you will run a software error , you will either need to start the wipe over. Which will take just as long. Or use an autoloader or the browser tool to reload your software. All bb10 phones seem to take forever with security wipes . Especially if you have used them a lot
