When the new blackberry classic is locked and a new email message arrives i only get the led red signal flashing light but the small envelope in the locked screen does not appear to notify me for the email arrival...i find this very strange as my friend has bought the same phone and he sees the "small envelope" in the lock screen when an email arrives...i have checked all the possible settings and the issue still exists...has anyone seen this problem before? thanks in advance, john

Are you in leaked version? If no do hard reset by holding volume rockers for 10 secs
