Why doesn't my replacement Passport support Overdrive Media Console?

Have been listening to DRM audiobooks and reading ebooks Overdrive Media Console on Passport since November 4. Had no problems downloading OMC to the first Passport directly from OMC, but have been unable to download or install OMC apps from Amazon on new replacement Passport. Both devices running on 10.3.0.98.

OMC stopped supporting BlackBerry before November. I haven't tried downloading an older Android version yet.

Any other work-arounds? Or recommendations of other media applications?

I use the Kindle/Audible combo. Both Android apps and from Amazon so it's unlikely they will ever vanish or stop supporting anything.
