Periodically the on off button sticks on the Z30 causing it to keep cycling. If not caught immediately the battery goes dead. The only way to rectify is to remove the cover and put back on.

    Any permanent solution available?

What battery cover do you have on? I only noticed this when I had the BlackBerry Leather Flip cover on. For some reason, the battery cover part of that case did not like to play well with the on/off button. If I had the standard battery cover on, I never had this issue.
