I have a brand new q5. phone rings but when I receive a text only LED light comes on, no beep. It did beep at first, but I feel that since I turned volume off, then back up to full, it no longer beeps. Main volume and media volumes are both set up near top. I've checked notification settings. Any advice? Thanks a lot

What OS are you on? The new 2558 is much better and you should probably load it on your phone.

    Hi,
Thanks for your help. My Q5 is brand new. It updated to 10.2.1.3062 when I brought it home just last week. My wife has everything the same, new phone just like this one but hers makes noise. Mine doesn't seem to make any noise, although it did when someone called me. But not for texts - although it did the first day or so. I think maybe I did something, like turn the volume down, then back up.
When I try to preview the different notification sounds, like chime, I don't hear anything at all either. Maybe I turned something off, but main volume is set to high, and notification - sound is on and set to high as well. Thanks for your help.
