    When recovering my Classic backup to an replacement Classic, some of the contacts were lost. There did not appear to be a pattern with the contacts that were lost. My previous Classic was lost, so my only resort for data recovery is Blackberry link which appears to be more link Blackhole link.

    You want the nice answer or the truth? I prefer the truth.

    Link is a garbage app that hasn't been updated in forever. At this point, you're among the lucky ones who can even get the app to restore some of the content you're looking for. Many others can't even get the app to load let alone restore anything.
