    Tried many times to load my data after I reset to factory settings.
    3gb of data sat on laptop and I can't access any of it.
    How can I load my back-up file or access my data via laptop?
    At a loose end now and don't have any options.

    Used BlackBerry Link to back up my z10 prior to reset to factory settings.
    Fresh OS system loaded so I wanted to simply load my data back on. Link kept failing to load the 3gb file.

    So it sees the file? You can select it? Then what does Link actually tell you?

    Yes, it sees the file, starts to load then an error message appears saying it's cancelled. Tried the said 3gb back up file on two laptops running a new and old version of BlackBerry Link.

    It appears the backup has been corrupted.

    Try custom restore and select small pieces at a time.

    Sorry for the delay. Tried your suggestions but none worked.
    I tried restoring various data from four separate back ups and each failed at the out set.
    Now I have to try and find a way of opening up the back up on PC to access the data. Any thoughts?

    You can't access a Link backup any other way. Sorry.
