Why do some apps only work when I restart my Bold 9900?

i have an unlocked 9900 - originally virgin mobile (Bell Canada). Current phone service from rogers. I recently cancelled my BIS. Most apps will work only after a hard restart and then only for a few hours. | can't even get into Blackberry World. I deleted all the service books but that made not difference.
Can anyone offer me some advise?

That's strange. My service is with Koodo (no BIS) but I don't experience that problem. What OS version are you using? Which apps are not working? Can you provide a list?

Apps that do not work are gas buddy, hockey scores, Opera mini, blackberry world. I don't use facebook and twitter only occasionally. The problem seems started once cancelled BIS. Rogers seems to think it's a phone issue.

And the operating system is 7.0

I think I'd try reinstalling the OS. I use Opera Mini and BlackBerry World without BIS, and don't experience any problems.
