...if it's BB10, you can 'link' multiple contacts by going into whatever contact you may have multiples of then selecting 'Links' at the bottom and linking all the stray contacts into one...it sometimes can get fragmented if there are slight deviations (spelling etc.) in a contact....any other OK no idea.
