Why do I have to manually turn on my ringtone volume every morning?

Have a DTEK50 and have turned automatic do not disturb rules on for weekday and weekend. That said, my ring tone is still muted next day if I do not reset it. If i want to hear calls coming in, need to go into settings, click on sounds and notification and manually slide ring icon (the bell) to the right so that I can hear a ring when somebody calls me.

Phone also no longer vibrates when called.

What have I turned off by accident??

Other people including myself have had the same issue. The best work around seems to be to just get used to doing it manually and hope BlackBerry will eventually fix it.

Glad to see it's not just me. I thought it was a case of operator error on my part!
