I have transferred contacts from my old 9900 Bold to my new priv using the Bluetooth function in the 9900. I could see the contacts being transferred from 9900 to priv. This was visible on both phones. The 9900 gave a message that transfer was successful.

My problem is that the contacts transferred to the priv do not seem to have been added to the "Contacts" in the priv.

I have done the operation twice but still no luck.

Where would the transferred contacts be sitting in the priv?

    Thanks

Did you check in the folder marked Bluetooth in your file manager?

    Dear Ben xfg

Yes - all the contacts were in the Bluetooth folder. How do I make them visible in "Contacts"?

Thanks very much you have greatly lowered my bold pressure!

What happens if you press on the contacts file in your file manager? It should prompt you to import them to one of your contacts accounts, if it does, simply select the account you want them to be imported to and hit ok. Let us know...

Many thanks Ben xfg You were quite correct the contacts were in the Bluetooth folder and I have exported them as "vCard" files from the Bluetooth folder to "Contacts". I am very grateful because I did not find this in Blackberry's own website. Kind regards Fyers45
