    Are you on a BlackBerry BIS plan with your carrier?

    Have just aquired this Blackberry Bold 9780 and not able to access Blackberty sites. Carrier is O2 UK which I don't think has the Blackberry plan as an option. Thank you.

    Well, the ancient BBOS devices require a BIS plan for connectivity.

    The OS and device were specifically made to rely on BIS (or BES if company managed). They go hand-in-hand.

    Besides, the last update to OS 6 (which is all the 9780 gets) was about 9 years ago.
