Hi, I just purchased a Bold 9790 from ebay as a work phone and I want to set up an email on the phone.
When I click the email accounts icon, it goes to a page which says:

    No accounts activated
    Account Activation
    To activate your enterprise account,
enter details provided by your system
    administrator in the fields below.
    Activation Password:

I don't have an enterprise account and just wish to set up an ordinary email address.

I have reset the phone to factory default, but it is exactly the same.

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the Enterprise Activation screen please and advise on setting up an email on the phone.

    Thanks in advance

Do you have BIS on your wireless account?
Are you going from one BlackBerry to another BlackBerry or did you have something else previously?

You need to remove the IT policy. It's been so long since I've dealt with BBOS, do a search either here or on a search engine for removing it.
