The BlackBerry 10 OS provides some support for installing Android apps through the Amazon App Store and its Android version 4.3 Runtime, but it does not support the Google Play Store or Services.

You'll get better Android compatibility by downloading Cobalt's Google Play Store software to your PC and installing it on your Q10: http://forums.crackberry.com/android...g-page-965257/

Beyond the response above, what source are you using to get the app in the first place?

OP, you need v3.16.3 for BB10.

If you don't want to install Cobalt's stack, get it from apkmirror. It's the safest.

Is that the highest version of Netflix we can install? They're well into 4.x.x builds now. I have 3.16.0 build 5294. Hesitant to try anything higher.

    Anything higher requires Kitkat.

3.16.3 (5359), is what I have on my Z10. It's also the latest Google Play will give me.

It could be that it's the last one to run on Android 4.3. And anything newer is only for 4.4 or higher.

As Conite posted right before me.

The Amazon App Store on your handset has a version of Netflix that will work on the Q10.

    Not likely.

Netflix blocked all BlackBerry phones using the Amazon App Store starting about a year and a half ago. Amazon had no choice as it was Netflix that was being a baby about some slight they felt from BlackBerry and made Amazon block access to the app from our phones.

Even now (and I just tried it), you can search, but the actual Netflix app won't show up.

Interesting... I installed it before that and it worked just fine up to the point of replacing the device with a Classic. Since I never really used the app, I didn't re-install it.

If you're going to send people anywhere, send them to apps.goodereader.com since it's run by a frequent Crackberry poster, Kozmonaut.
