Why can't I install Android apps on my Torch 9810?

I just got a BB Torch 9810 it is unlocked, I dont know much about BB but I want to run android apps and i downloaded snap as a bar file and i downloaded several files that were converted to for bb but my phone does not offer to install ,I dont even get an attempt to launch files . when I click a file it says unable to display file.

can anyone please give me some help or even better a walk through if you know whats up with my phone?

I am willing to try different things, I saw the answers about not able to use android on torch . I do need the apps i used on android but the old phone is broke, I like the blackberry a lot, is there anything i can do with this to get my android apps on this phone?

can i change os 7 to the os 10?

Well, a 9810 has no Android Runtime -- it cannot run any Android apps. You're limited to what you can get in BlackBerry World.

Because the 9810 does not have any compatibility with Android. Just isn't going to happen.

You can only install apps that are designed to work with BBOS.

And no you can't upgrade from BBOS to BB10.... you would have taught.
