hello,

my z10 was working just fine, i wanted to give it to my sister so i wiped it and after the wipe i couldn't get past the gesture setup has anyone found a solution to this problem

Reload the software via BlackBerry Link or with an autoloader. Or have you already done that?

downloading auto loader but am still in shock what cause that is my screen dead cause i can swipe left, right, up but i can not swipe down i did a battery pull but still and bb link is saying no new update found

Go to preferences and then look for reload software in BlackBerry Link. It should find the most recent OS available.

the device setup is not completing its stuck at the gesture screen i can not swip down so bb link detects the pin reboots the device and then says no update available

Then autoloader should be the way to go. Don't worry, your screen won't go bad hardware wise due to a device wipe.

Mark sure you select the correct device. Just download on your PC, unzip the file, plug in the device, and run it.

thanx its stl100-1 originally 10.0.10 will install it but can rule out screen or sensor failure?

If all your other gestures are working, it's hard to imagine a hardware failure.

You can't continue without doing those two tutorial gestures during the setup.
