    The .apk file of google maps i downloaded from 1mobilemarket is installing fine, but when I try to open the Maps icon, it loads for sometime and automatically closes.
    I am able to install other .apk files via 1mobilemarket but very badly in need of google maps. Please help. Am I doing something wrong here?

    You need to patch it through Lucky Patcher to remove dependencies.
