Why am i not able to access my sd card on my blackerry 9650?

I find it strange because it's the first this is happening. When i remove my sd card and replace it a pop message comes up saying that "media card is not able to be accessed due to fatal errors" . Neither am i able to access it on my laptop to format it ... Also i tried repairing it on my phone and the repair failed.

If you have put it in your laptop and cannot access the data then I'm afraid you need a new card. Or you can try and format that one but you will be wiping everything on it. I hope you have your card backed up somewhere.
