    am using curve 8520 .. nor able to access Internet using wifi seem phone root certificate have expire how to update root certificate

    Do you have correct service books? Enable legacy restore and upload service books (google it). Mine 8520 was working like this. Good luck.

    2 questions to your issue...
    Do you get emails using mobile network or WiFi?
    Maybe your device has an enterprise policy installed (firewall is enabled and locked) and it blocks communication through WiFi?
    Did you do a HRT registration (options - advanced options - host routing table - BB key -> register now)?

    As far as I know all certificates and service books should be updated automatically if your device uses BB services, at least HRT registration.

    BIS needs to be enabled on the SIM card used in the phone even though you're on WiFi.
