A member of my family bought a q10 on e bay brand new 4 months ago and has the receipt for it.
While charging it it became unresponsive and eventually somehow bricked itself.I have tried to reload the software but the device is not registering on the pc and I cannot gain access to the bb.
Who/where do we contact re the manufacturers warranty,is it in Canada or is there a uk department it could be sent to.

    Thanks in advance

Typically the carrier handles warranty, however you would need to contact bb directly. The contact information should be on their Web site. Be prepared to provide credit card to speak with them. Also be prepared for them to say that warranty is non transferable, especially country to country.

You'll have to pay the get it fixed
Warranty won't be transferred. If you get lucky you will be able to talk to them for free, else sometimes you will be charged, just because carriers usually take care of that.
