    Chuy's is a bit yuppie, in Austin I would stick with east of I35 or south of the river. Frying corn tortillas isn't too difficult. If you need some recommendations let me know.

    Yup, it's pretty awesome for a chain restaurant, there's even one in the Houston Bush Airport. What can bet a Maine lobster or some jumbo shrimp before a long flight...

    If you are in Houston, then to answer you original question that started this thread, you should have gone out for seafood. Specifically you should have gone to San Leon and hit up Bubba's Shrimp Palace. I love that place when I'm down there.

    I've been there before. It's good too. If you haven't been before, try out the Monument Inn seafood restaurant out by the San Jacinto monument. Not only can you visit the battlegrounds and the world's tallest obelisk style monument, but you can get some of the finest gulf seafood around.
