They should be in your pictures app.

Are you using the app...Only Screenshots? If so you will find them by opening the app.

Thats what I thought, they are not. Saved to my personal it says (translated from swedish, so might be something else but similar in eng)
No just pushing the volume rockers
If I use my camera to take a picture the picture is saved on my Media Card (a choice under camera settings). My screen shots (double rocker) are saved to the same location. The most recent of either shows in the upper left corner under Camera. Maybe if you find where your Camera pictures are you will find your Screenshots.

By default, screen caps taken with the up/down volume buttons are saved to Device/Camera.
Take a screenshot by pressing the volume up + down buttons at the same time.
To find your screenshot, just open your pictures app and make sure you're in the "Camera" album.
Also, * make sure you have set the pictures app to display pics from newest to oldest.
To ensure your pictures are sorted from newest to oldest :
1. Open pictures app
2. Go to "Camera" album (if you're not already in it)
3. Slide your finger down from the top of the screen (you should now see the options "Help", "Unhide Items", and "Settings" at the top of the screen)
4. Click "Settings"
5. Click "Sort Items in Albums" and select "Newest to Oldest" in the drop-down list .

From now on, all screen shots will be in the upper left hand corner of the "Camera" album in the "Pictures" app.
