My classic BB just died on me and cannot be switched on despite charging. Where can I send it for repairs/servicing?

I'm going to assume it's a bb10 device? have you tried rebooting the device ?

Step 1: Connect the phone without the battery. The red light comes on, indicating that the phone boots. Step 2: put the battery in and the light turns off. Step 3: Remove the battery 2 or 3 seconds after the battery logo is displayed (battery will start to charge).

(Umm, I gather that the phone in question is the Classic, which means it's a sealed unit)

See if a 32 second re-boot will get the Classic up and running. Press the power button for 32 seconds. Time it.

It's the equivalent of a battery pull.

Re getting the device serviced in Singapore, I suggest you contact the store you bought it from and ask them the service centre details. I realise that the device is probably out of warranty, but the store may still have service centre details.

(And I wonder if it will be BlackBerry in Hong Kong?)

Interesting statement, making sure of ownership:
"As long as you have a locally-bought NOT PARALLEL IMPORTED (such as BlackBerry Bold 9630, 9650, 9930) with valid local warranty (warranty card that is filled up properly if not, must come with a valid receipt), just bring over there for your device woes. Of course, this will take some time, so if you have an issue, hit us up on BBM"

Im not sure what happened here. I deleted most of this and added the reboot instructions. Strange!
